Weston operates and maintains all of our client’s continuous ambient air monitoring stations, which provide data for the EPA Air Quality System database. The air monitoring stations monitor for ozone, PM-10, PM 2.5, TSP, wind speed with wind direction, and ambient temperature so that the City can maintain air quality standards set by the EPA. Data are reported to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s (TCEQ’s) private data collection network, LEADS and are available to the public so that all stakeholders can better understand local air quality issues. Our team performs daily monitoring, calibration checks, sample collection, third-party audits, data validation, routine preventative maintenance and repairs, security monitoring, and report generation. Weston’s flexibility and responsive have attributed to our timely performance and accurate data collection, allowing air quality to be reported to the San Antonio community in a near real-time basis without data gaps for informational and educational purposes.
