Weston maintains several mobile laboratories that serve as standalone Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMs) units for a suite of pulp and paper clients. The units provide data that help maintain compliance with their permits. Our teams arrive on-site in less than 24 hours to deliver and set up the mobile units and calibrate the equipment using our proprietary remote monitoring software. The un-manned mobile units can remain on-site up to several months, collecting data using Weston’s software that clients and operators can view from any computer or smart device. Weston reviews the calibrations daily to ensure all monitoring criteria have been met and the results are submitted to the client every day. We were one of the first emission testing firms to have the remote capability to receive instant notification if there is an issue with a client’s system. Solving issues remotely eliminates travel time and minimizes system downtime.
