This was one of the fastest mobilizations and set up of fully operational temporary power generation units ever conducted, with the system fully operational in less than 24 days. The two generators installed at Palo Seco provided an average greater than 50 MW of power from October 29, 2017 through March 8, 2019, producing approximately 600,000 MW of power over that duration and consuming more than 44 million gallons of fuel without any spills. The temporary gas turbine generators operated at 97% efficiency operating time, including all scheduled and unscheduled outages, while maintaining 100,000 labor-hours without a lost time incident.
