West Chester, PA — [May 14, 2025] — Weston Solutions, Inc. (Weston), announces the appointment of Jigisha Desai as Chair of the Audit Committee on its Board of Directors. Desai succeeds Vince Laino, who retired in March 2025 following years of dedicated service to the company.
Desai’s appointment reinforces Weston’s commitment to strong financial governance, transparency, and long-term value creation for its employee-owners. She was unanimously selected by the Board after a thorough evaluation process, based on her extensive financial leadership, board experience, and deep expertise in Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).
“Jigisha brings a powerful combination of financial discipline, strategic insight, and governance expertise,” said Larry Bove, President and Chief Executive Officer of Weston. “Her experience with ESOP companies and strong track record in audit leadership will help guide Weston as we continue to grow responsibly and strengthen our commitment to our employee-owners.”
Desai has more than 30 years of experience in finance and strategy across multiple industries. She spent nearly three decades at Granite Construction (NYSE: GVA), where she most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial & Strategy Officer. Throughout her tenure, she spearheaded impactful initiatives in mergers and acquisitions, enterprise risk management, financial transparency, and digital transformation, driving sustained growth and improving operational efficiency.
A seasoned board director, Desai currently serves on the boards of Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), Central States Manufacturing, Inc. (a 100% employee-owned company), and Rhumbix, a construction technology company. Her prior board service includes leadership roles at QualTek Services (NASDAQ: QTEK), 1st Capital Bank (OTC: FISB), and Element US Minerals.
Desai earned a BS in Accounting from the University of Houston and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Golden Gate University. She is a Certified Treasury Professional and an alumna of the Advanced Management Program and Women Executives on Boards at Harvard Business School. She also holds certifications in Cyber and Business Risk Governance from the DCRO Risk Governance Institute.
In addition to her corporate achievements, Desai is a passionate advocate for education and women’s leadership, contributing to nonprofit boards and mentoring emerging professionals.
