Geoff Compeau joined Weston in 2014 and is the Senior Vice President-Federal Operations Director in the Western U.S. and Pacific. He is responsible for program and project delivery across federal programs as well as select commercial state and local businesses. Geoff brings over three decades of experience in federal and commercial sectors across the spectrum of Weston’s business interests including environmental, mission support, response, and construction. These experiences include direct program management of EPA Remedial Action Contracts (RAC) and national USACE and Navy environmental programs as well as program management of emergency response and recovery programs for FEMA Technical Assistance Programs. While principally responsible for operations oversight, Geoff continues to provide technical expertise on programs ranging from a $20M performance-based contract for turn-key remediation through remedy-in-place at over 75 sites, including complex chlorinated solvent plumes, at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, AK to EPA START programs in Regions 6, 9, and 10. These cover the U.S. coastline from Louisiana to the Arctic Circle as well as Pacific Territories.

Weston’s Federal business in the West and Pacific has nearly doubled during Geoff’s time at Weston. Geoff led the expansion into new programs in the West across all Weston service areas. He has authored numerous technical publications, has served on DOE advisory boards and program development teams, and is a Fellow of the Society of American Military Engineers. Geoff serves his community as the President of the non-profit Puget Sound Engineering and Science Scholarship Fund promoting pursuit of STEM study. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences and Chemistry, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry and Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University.
