(Weston) announced the appointment of Steve Blarr, Esq., PE, as Chief Legal and Administrative Officer, a newly expanded role that unifies the company’s legal, enterprise risk management, quality assurance, and health and safety functions under one senior leader. The move reflects Weston’s commitment to strengthening its risk management as the company continues to grow and take on increasingly complex environmental and infrastructure projects for government and private sector clients.

Blarr brings more than three decades of experience at Weston, with leadership roles spanning project delivery, business development, operations, insurance, risk management, and legal affairs. He has led the structuring and execution asset acquisitions and divestitures, alternative energy initiatives, joint ventures, and large-scale commercial agreements and developed the company’s enterprise risk management framework, strengthening decision-making across the organization.
His dual background as a licensed attorney and registered Professional Engineer gives him a unique ability to bridge technical and legal priorities, a combination that is increasingly critical as environmental regulations and project complexity continue to grow.
Blarr holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Bioenvironmental Engineering from Rutgers University. He is a licensed attorney in Colorado and a registered Professional Engineer in New Jersey.
