West Chester, PA (April 2, 2026)—Weston Solutions, Inc. (Weston) has been awarded a $100 million remedial action contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District under an inter-agency agreement with partner agency U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 8. Activities to be completed under this contract include the remediation of primarily residential properties in East Helena, MT. The work will address soils impacted by lead and arsenic deposition from a smelter operation active from 1888 through 2001. The 5-year remediation effort will be executed by USACE on behalf of its client, EPA Region 8.
Weston brings a decades-long history of delivering complex environmental remediation solutions for USACE Omaha and EPA. That experience informs an approach designed specifically for residential settings, where coordination, safety, responsiveness, and minimal disruption are critical to success.
Weston’s locally based Property Coordination Team, supported by an East Helena‑based project office, will serve as a primary point of contact for residents. The Weston team will coordinate with EPA to help guide homeowners through scheduling, access coordination, and day‑to‑day communication as work progresses.
Weston’s team, including Helena-based teaming partner Olympus Technical Services, will support construction activities. As part of our focus on coordination and minimizing disruption for residents, Weston also plans to partner with a local nonprofit to offer optional summer day camp vouchers as a convenience for families during scheduled work activities.
Weston’s comprehensive data management program supports all field activities in real time for homeowners as well as project/client stakeholders. The program helps ensure reliable information flow and accurate records from initial surveys through project closeout.
