Joe Hockenberry has served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources since 2013. He is a seasoned leader with 30 years of experience delivering strategic, practical Human Resources solutions. Joe’s background includes employee relations, compensation, benefits, HRIS, training and development, engagement, and recruiting. Having first joined Weston in 1993, Joe has successfully navigated many human resource management challenges including staffing for various disaster responses; hiring and deploying staff to assist with the reconstruction of post-war Iraq; and implementing a new 401k plan following Weston’s capital restructure and transition into an employee-owned company. Joe brings a commonsense approach to HR, with a strong alignment to business needs and marketplace drivers. Most recently, Joe led efforts to plan and implement succession of a new Senior Management Team when several senior leaders retired. He is an active member of various industry groups including Environmental Financial Consulting Group; AEC Advisors; and Society for Human Resources Management. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Widener University.
