West Chester, PA (July 26, 2023)— Weston Solutions, Inc. (Weston) wins Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Emergency Spill Response contract.
Under this five-year contract, Weston will perform a broad range of services including spill response, groundwater contamination response, response to man-made and natural disasters, and disaster recovery. With the contract underway, we have conducted projects such as air monitoring at a refinery fire, removal of mercury from a residence, and removal of abandoned drums near a roadway.
Weston’s Program Manager, Ashby McMullan, P.E. states “This contract builds on our long track record of successful site assessment and remediation contracts with TCEQ, as well as our response capabilities. This is a great opportunity to expand our services to the state of Texas.”
Weston has teamed with a specialty service provider, Lone Star HAZMAT Response (LSHR), to enhance our capability to provide spill response services. LSHR has the experience, personnel, and equipment to provide timely spill response services state-wide through their work for the Texas Department of Transportation and other clients. This Weston LSHR team will provide TCEQ with excellent service for the wide range of emergency or disaster response services that may be required.
