Environmental Management Outsourcing

As companies look for ways to efficiently manage their environmental programs, many look to outsourcing. In some companies, the desire to focus on core competencies means that much of the environmental management function can be outsourced. In other situations, companies find that fluctuations in size and/or geographic presence make outsourcing attractive. WESTON helps clients with a variety of outsourcing services:

• Supplemental staff support to provide additional resources above and beyond those provided by full-time, permanent environmental staff. Supplemental resources meet the needs of a particular geography, technical area, or timeframe when permanent staff are unavailable.

• Outsourcing responsibility for the entire environmental management program so that companies focus on core competencies. WESTON takes over responsibility for an entire environmental management program and provides metrics and accountability to appropriately manage environmental risks.

• Risk/reward sharing based upon environmental program performance. WESTON can assume partial or complete responsibility for environmental programs, and enter into a risk/reward sharing program where WESTON-performance-generated cost-savings are shared between WESTON and the client, providing a true “win-win” situation.
