Weston Selected to Provide Support Services for EPA’s Superfund Program: Contract Has Potential Value of $69 Million

WEST CHESTER, Pa., April 16, 2013 – Weston Solutions today announced the award of a Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) IV contract by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The contract has a potential maximum value of $69.3 million and the period of performance includes a 3-year base period and two 2-year options for a maximum 7-year period.

Under the contract, Weston will provide emergency response, preparedness and prevention, assessment, technical, data management and training support services for the Superfund and other EPA programs in EPA’s Region 8, which includes Colorado, Montana, North and South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming and 27 tribal nations.

Weston has been an EPA contractor for all ten EPA Regions under 32 separate Superfund Contracts since 1982. This is the first START contract the Company has held in Region 8.
