WESTON was under contract to Bechtel Hanford, Inc. (BHI), to
perform the remediation of the 300-FF-1 Area Waste Sites for
DOE. Contaminated material was excavated and placed into containers
for transport to the DOE’s Environmental Restoration Disposal
Facility (ERDF) in Hanford, Washington.
WESTON self performed the majority of the work, including
building roads, a frisking building, and a decontamination station,
and erecting temporary buildings and a truck scale.
