“For me, the greatest benefit of working at WESTON is the work that I get to do and the people I work with. WESTON employee-owners are not just my coworkers, but my friends. I love the variety of work and the learning curve that goes along with my job. My favorite project by far is the Stearns Quarry site in Chicago. The quarry had been turned into a landfill. The City of Chicago Department of Environment asked WESTON to design a landfill closure that would allow the site to be turned into a park, which will have a lot of great features like a fishing pond, a big hill for sledding and ball fields. This project is my favorite not only because it will turn an eyesore into a beautiful park, but because I enjoy working with all the different City departments as well as my fellow engineers in other WESTON offices.”
