WESTON's Mark E. Warner Elected to Board of Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition
WEST CHESTER, PA – June 14, 2004 – Mark E. Warner, P.E., Pacific Coast Profit Center Manager for Weston Solution, Inc. (WESTON®), has been elected to serve a three-year term on the Board of the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition (the Coalition).
The Coalition, founded in 1989 and co-chaired by former Governors Dan Evans and Mike Lowry, enjoys unparalleled success and bipartisan support in the State of Washington. Comprised of a diverse group of over 120 businesses and community organizations, it has one of the most committed and effective boards of directors in the state. Over the last 12 years, the Coalition has worked to raise $362 million in state funds for the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP).
“I greatly appreciate the opportunity to assist in securing and directing long-term funding for wildlife habitat and outdoor recreation in Washington,” stated Mr. Warner. “This is a unique opportunity for me to combine my 20 years of professional experience in environmental restoration with my background in political advocacy.”
Mr. Warner is a graduate of Washington State University and is a Registered Professional Chemical Engineer in the State of Washington. He takes pride in his community and is actively involved as a board member for the Issaquah School District – one of the largest and most high-profile districts in the State. His involvement with WESTON and in what the employee-owned corporation has accomplished on the West Coast in recent years is another source of pride for Warner.
