Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News Recognize WESTON as a "Top Workplace"

WEST CHESTER, PA — March 24, 2010 – Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®) received top honors for commitment to its employees, ranking seventh among Midsize companies in the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News 2010 Top Workplaces in Philadelphia. The list of best companies to work for in the Delaware Valley region was published March 21, 2010, in the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Daily News, and on philly.com.

The Top Workplaces program honors Delaware Valley employers (five counties in Pennsylvania, three counties in New Jersey, and one county each in Delaware and Maryland with a population of almost 6 million) who lead their industries in attracting and retaining employees. Confidential results were measured based on responses to questions concerning six areas of the workplace: direction, execution, career, conditions, managers, and pay and benefits. A 30% response rate was required to be considered for the Top Workplaces designation. WESTON employees showed their enthusiasm and commitment with a resounding 84% response to the survey.

Patrick G. McCann, WESTON President and Chief Executive Officer, is proud of WESTON’s success at maintaining a strong work-life balance. He stated, “As an employee-owned firm, our core values and shared ownership culture help make WESTON a great place to work. This is due in large part to the great people who work here but it also has a lot to do with our Total Rewards Partnership—the major reasons an employee makes the daily choice to work at WESTON. We will continue to attract, integrate, develop, and retain the right talent so we consistently deliver exceptional performance and continue to be the employer-of-choice.”

WESTON’s Total Rewards Program empowers employees to unlock their potential. It builds the framework for why “Great People Choose WESTON Every Day.” Through a partnership dialogue with their manager, employees are encouraged to build their own personal “WESTON,” combining the company’s unique culture, career opportunities, and compensation and benefits programs while meeting business objectives.

Other WESTON regional offices also ranked as Top Places to Work winners in recent years—San Antonio, TX, sixth in Medium category in the San Antonio Business Journal 2009 Best Places to Work awards; and Honolulu, HI, eighth 2007, tenth 2008, and third 2009 in Small to Medium companies in the Hawaii Business Magazine Best Places to Work.
