WESTON Awarded Omaha District Corps of Engineers Contract

WEST CHESTER, PA — June 15, 2010 – Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®) today announced it has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District for Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) Services at projects located throughout the United States and its territories. WESTON is one of five firms selected to compete on the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) with a total maximum contract value of $124 million.

Under the contract, WESTON will be responsible for the full range of MMRP Services to the Corps and its customers including military munitions investigations, site characterization and removal/remedial actions, explosives management, munitions debris handling and disposal, and community relations support.

As a recognized industry leader, this contract expands WESTON’s capacity to serve the government in this important program to clean up and restore impacted lands to beneficial use.

The company is currently delivering security, disaster, infrastructure, construction, fueling system services, and environmental response services to the Omaha District.
