WESTON® Awarded
New England District Corps of Engineers Remedial Action Contract Worth
Up To $60 Million
West Chester, PA — November 2, 2005 — Weston
Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®)
today announced the award of a Remedial Action Contract (RAC)
by the New England District Army Corps of Engineers with a total gross
value of up to $60 million. The contract will be effective for a base
period of one year with four one-year options.
Under the indefinite delivery/indefinite
quantity (ID/IQ) contract, WESTON will provide hazardous, toxic and
radioactive waste remediation services throughout the Corps’ North
Atlantic Division. Remedial actions may include containment, removal,
treatment, transportation and disposal. Contaminants may include hazardous,
toxic, radioactive, petroleum-based, and explosive constituents in
various environments including soils, sediments, sludges, liquids,
air, water, debris, structures, and containers.
