WESTON Awarded New England District Corps of Engineers
Remedial Action Contract Worth Up to $50 Million

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - July 27, 2000 - Roy F. Weston, Inc. today announced the award of a Remedial Action Contract (RAC) by the New England District Army Corps of Engineers with a total gross value of up to $50 million over a 5-year period. Work will include the management and execution of full-scope Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) remediation projects throughout the Corps' North Atlantic Division.

"This award is evidence of our continuing successful relationship with the New England Corps," said WESTON Chief Executive William L. Robertson. "It solidifies our strong East Coast presence in the remediation market."

This is the fourth Hazardous and Toxic Waste Remediation contract awarded to WESTON in the past 6 years by the New England Corps for work at sites throughout New England, New York and New Jersey. The total gross value of these contracts is up to $260 million.
