WEST CHESTER, PA — April 26, 2012 – It is with great pleasure we announce the selection of Vince Laino as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the year by the Environmental Financial Consulting Group, Inc. (EFCG). Vince received his award at a special luncheon held on Friday, April 20, 2012 during the annual EFCG CFO Conference.

In today's increasingly challenging and unpredictable market, the role of the CFO has evolved significantly. Vince Laino, Weston Solutions, Inc. He stated, "EFCG has selected Vince Laino as the recipient of the 2012 EFCG CFO of the Year Award, for his distinguished financial leadership of one of the engineering/consulting (e/c) industry's finest firms. During his roughly 25 years of service at WESTON, he was involved in orchestrating taking the company private through a combination of private equity and a 401K-Plan; then refinancing the private equity, bringing them back to being a totally employee-owned firm. He has assisted his management team by developing and implementing business and financial control systems, to help enhance WESTON's efficiency, growth and profitability, as a leading firm in this industry. He has participated for many years at the EFCG Annual Financial Conferences for the engineering industry, always adding insights, ideas and approaches that have helped the e/c industry to improve its business sophistication, its efficiency and its capacity to serve the needs of our economy and our society. My deepest congratulations to you, and my appreciation to WESTON for its long support of EFCG in our effort to improve the financial and business sophistication of this important industry."

Patrick G. McCann, WESTON President and CEO, seconded those thoughts, saying, "Vince has made so many critical contributions to making WESTON what it is today that it would be hard to conceive that we would be here without his leadership, hard work and friendship. Vince has unique strengths that combine systems, accounting and finance with a strong dose of people skills. This combination has provided us with terrific management systems that align and drive our culture of collaboration and results. Congratulations Vince!"

Vince is a graduate of Drexel University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and computer systems management and a master's degree in financial management. He began his career at WESTON in 1988 and was named CIO in September 1994. As CFO/CIO, Vince has been instrumental in WESTON's successful efforts to improve the company's financial resources, systems, and experience, culminating with employee-ownership in 2001. WESTON's strong backlog and record of superior project performance provides a predictable, stable revenue stream and well –managed cash flow generation. Vince's leadership in superior risk management practices, and close financial partnerships contributes to WESTON's stability, growth and financial security.
