Hawaii Business Magazine Recognizes WESTON as Number One Place to Work

HONOLULU, HI — April 21, 2010 – For the second time this spring, Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®) received top honors for commitment to its employees, ranking first among Small companies in the Hawaii Business Magazine 2010 Best Places to Work in Hawaii. The list of best places to work in Hawaii appears in the April edition of Hawaii Business Magazine, and on HawaiiBusiness.com.

The Best Places to Work issue honors companies that keep their employees happy and highlights how they do it. An independent analytical research firm, Best Companies Group, surveyed local organizations and named 60 to the list of winners—17 large businesses, 19 medium business, and 24 small businesses. Companies are graded on criteria that include pay and benefits, culture, communication, and leadership. An anonymous employee feedback survey was used to attain candid responses to questions about job satisfaction, career development opportunities, workplace environment, and leadership.

WESTON’s award commendation was signed by Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle. It stated, “Environmental consulting and engineering group Weston Solutions stands out among small businesses in Hawaii.” It went on to thank the Company for going above and beyond business as usual to create a workplace where employees thrive and are motivated to succeed.

Donald W. Grogan, WESTON Senior Vice President and Global Division Manager, is proud of the office’s success at maintaining a strong work-life balance.
