WESTON Awarded GSA Worldwide Professional Engineering Services Schedule Contract to Support Federal Construction Activities

WEST CHESTER, PA — July 15, 2010 – Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®) today announced it was awarded the U.S. General Service Administration’s (GSA) Professional Engineering Services (PES) Federal Supply Schedule for domestic and overseas use by all federal government agencies and authorized organizations for construction management services.

Patrick G. McCann, WESTON president and chief executive officer, commented, “The GSA PES contract, and the GSA schedules in general, are an important part of our continued success in growing our overall federal market. We have been performing construction-related activities at home and around the world for our military and federal clients for many years, and this GSA award increases our clients’ access to our engineering and construction-related services.”

The intent of the GSA PES schedule is to allow federal agencies to access WESTON in a construction management role to act as its principal agent to advise, assist, or even manage certain aspects of their construction projects. In some cases, the PES schedule could be used to access WESTON experience to oversee project delivery on behalf of the government, regardless of the delivery method used.

In addition to the PES schedule, WESTON also holds four other GSA schedule contracts for Environmental Services, Security Services, Information Technology, and the GreenGrid® Roofing system. These schedules have been used by numerous federal agencies either directly or through multiyear Basic Purchase Agreements over the past 5 years, including the Department of Interior, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, and U.S. Forest Service.
