George MacKenzie Joins WESTON Board of Directors

WEST CHESTER, PA — May 16, 2008 – George MacKenzie, retired Chief Financial Officer of Hercules Inc. (HPC), and non-executive Chairman of the Board of American Water Works Company, has been elected to the board of directors of Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®), a leading environmental redevelopment firm. Mr. MacKenzie will serve as Chair of the Board’s Audit Committee.

From 1979 through 2001 Mr. MacKenzie served in various positions at HPC, a specialty chemical manufacturer. He was also President of their Chemical Specialties Company. Mr. MacKenzie retired in 2001 as Vice Chairman of the Board and Executive Vice President. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of C&D Technologies Inc., Safeguard Scientifics Inc., Tractor Supply Co. and American Water.

Mr. MacKenzie graduated with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Executives Institute and Institute of Management Accountants.
