WESTON Receives Climate Registered Status Affirming Leadership in Carbon Management

WEST CHESTER, PA — July 22, 2010 – Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®) is pleased to announce its Climate Registered status by The Climate Registry, a non-profit greenhouse gas emissions registry in North America.

Since 2007, WESTON has voluntarily measured, managed and reported its annual North American greenhouse gas emissions. WESTON gained increasing sophistication in identifying emission sources and is developing strategies to reduce the company’s emissions. Becoming Climate Registered means that WESTON has met rigorous transparency, accuracy and comprehensiveness standards established by The Climate Registry.

Patrick G. McCann, WESTON president and chief executive officer, commented, “The Climate Registered status not only means that WESTON is committed to outstanding environmental leadership, but that we can offer our clients the technical competence gained from hands on experience in carbon management. Many of our clients are looking to reduce their carbon footprint, not just because of regulatory drivers, but because it is the right thing to do for the future of the planet.”
