Anthony R. Riccio Joins WESTON's East Division HTRW Program Team
WEST CHESTER, Pa. - August 28, 2000 - Roy F. Weston, Inc., today announced that Anthony (Tony) R. Riccio, formerly with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), has joined the company as a Senior Client Service Manager in its East Division.
Mr. Riccio's initial focus will be on program development throughout the East Division in WESTON's core business offerings and strategic growth initiatives, including site redevelopment, high hazard remediation, infrastructure operations and ports and waterways management.
"Tony is a significant addition to our team," said Patrick G. McCann, WESTON President and Chief Operating Officer. "He brings extensive experience in environmental operations and management that will help our drive to leadership in infrastructure redevelopment."
Mr. Riccio has 23 years of experience with the Army Corps of Engineers, having served with the Pacific Ocean Division and Baltimore and New England Districts. Most recently as Chief of the Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive (HTRW) Programs Section for the New England District, he directed strategic projects in remediation and construction, environmental protection, hazardous waste management and dredged materials management. He has a B. S. in Civil Engineering from Tufts University and holds certification as a Licensed Site Professional and Construction Supervisor. He has also received several awards from the Corps of Engineers for sustained superior performance.
"Tony's knowledge of USACE's HTRW Best Practices, understanding of client expectations and priorities and network of contacts within the Corps as well as other federal agencies will be a major asset in the East Division's overall HTRW program," said John Hammond, Vice President and head of WESTON's East Division.
