Former Army Corps of Engineers Officer Joins Weston Solutionssm

VERNON HILLS, IL. -September 17, 2002 - WESTON announced today that retired Army Corps of Engineers Lieutenant Colonel Scott Prosuch has joined WESTON as the lead Department of Defense (DoD) Client Service Manager in the Midwest. Mr. Prosuch will also support the Western Division, working out of Colorado Springs.

WESTON currently provides worldwide environmental engineering support to the DoD, as well as multiple federal agencies and private industry. Mr. Prosuch will assist WESTON in providing comprehensive solutions to its Army and Air Force clients in both the Midwest and throughout the Nation.

Mr. Prosuch has 23 years of experience as a military officer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. As a Corps officer he served in a number of areas around the world, most recently as the Deputy District Engineer and Colorado Springs Area Engineer for the Omaha District. Prior to that assignment, he spent 3 years as the Director of Facilities and Deputy Commander for the U.S. installation in Kuwait where he was also the Force Protection Officer. His areas of expertise and experience range from Corps construction and environmental projects to force protection and security/Homeland Defense programs.

Mr. Prosuch is a graduate of Penn State University and holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering. He has attended numerous Army Corps of Engineer's courses, Force Protection training and the Army's Command and General Staff College. As a pro-active SAME member and former Post President, he is a Deputy Regional Vice President, and organized and led the 2002 SAME Engineer Construction Summer Camp for High School Students at the Air Force Academy.
