WESTON Awarded Housatonic River Remediation Contract with U. S. Army Corps
of Engineers - Up to $150 Million Value
West Chester,
Pa. - April 25, 2000 -- Roy F. Weston, Inc. (Nasdaq:WSTNA)
announced today the award of an indefinite delivery/indefinite
quantity contract by the New England District U. S. Army
Corps of Engineers for environmental engineering and construction
services to clean up certain areas in the Housatonic River
near Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The five-year contract has
a total gross value of up to $150 million. Services will
focus on the cleanup of polychlorinated biphenyl compounds
(PCBs) and other hazardous substances.
