WESTON Wins Navy Fuel Systems Engineering Services Contract

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – December 16, 2003 –Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®) announced today that it has been awarded a world-wide engineering services contract by the Port Hueneme, California, Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC). WESTON is one of three companies selected under this contract, which has a potential shared contract and options value of $80 million.

The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has a one-year ordering period (and four one-year options). The contract will be implemented through task orders performed on both a cost reimbursable and firm fixed-price basis. Tasks could include inspecting, installing, maintaining, repairing, modifying, and upgrading ocean, inter- and intra-terminal Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) pipelines and related facilities throughout the world. Specific activities may include internal and external POL pipeline inspections, repair, modification, and upgrade; cathodic protection system analysis and repair; and pipeline operations.

“The Port Hueneme award will allow the Navy and the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) to upgrade and modify strategically important fueling systems around the world. This new Port Hueneme contract vehicle will make it possible for us to respond to Navy and DESC needs in the Europe and Middle East theaters as well.”
