WESTON Wins U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
Munitions Response Contract
WEST
CHESTER, PA – September 28, 2004 –Weston
Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®) announced today that it has been
awarded a Fixed Price Remediation with Insurance (FPRI) indefinite
delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U. S. Army
Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Engineering and Support Center
(HNC). WESTON is one of three companies selected to support the
Department of Defense (DoD) Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) under this contract,
which has a potential shared contract and options value of $250
million.
The FPRI multiple
award remediation/response contract (MARC) has a 2-year base ordering
period and three 1-year options. Under the contract, WESTON will
perform removal/remedial actions, munitions response and other munitions
related services at Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS), active DoD Installations, DoD Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC)
sites, property adjoining DoD installations, and for other U.S. Government
agencies, as appropriate.
