Brownfield Redevelopment Expert Lisa Lange Joins WESTON

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - June 13, 2000 - Roy F. Weston, Inc., announced today that Lisa Lange has joined its Detroit office as a Marketing Development Professional. Ms. Lange will provide her brownfield expertise on WESTON redevelopment contracts and projects throughout the Midwest.

"Ms. Lange's background and experience are ideally suited to the integrative services we provide our clients in infrastructure redevelopment," said WESTON President and Chief Operating Officer Patrick G. McCann. "With her impressive track record, she will be a key member of our midwest team."

Ms. Lange has extensive experience in identifying, developing and managing brownfield redevelopment projects as well as technical expertise in structuring and obtaining financial assistance.

Prior to joining WESTON, she served as Executive Director of the Port Authority for Brownfields Redevelopment in Cincinnati and Hamilton County, Ohio, and as Long Range Planner for the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana. As Executive Director, Ms. Lange won national recognition for the Port Authority from both the International City Management Association and the Joint Center for Sustainable Communities for her work. For the City of Fort Wayne, she administered the brownfield redevelopment initiative, initiating pilot demonstration projects, preparing grant applications and drafting and reviewing legislation. She also has recommended changes to improve the Ohio Revised Code pertaining to port authorities and the Ohio Voluntary Action Program (VAP).

Ms. Lange holds a BS in Public Administration Management from Indiana University and is pursuing Economic Development Professional Certification through the Council for Urban Economic Development.
