WESTON Names Joe Miller as Manager of Strategic Business Development for Water Resources Program

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - April 10, 2002 - Roy F. Weston, Inc. (WESTON®), a leading environmental, redevelopment, and compliance firm, today announced the appointment of Mr. Joe R. Miller as the Senior Client Services Manager for Water Resources in its Washington, DC office. Mr. Miller joins WESTON to lead the growth and expansion of its water resources business line and enhance coordination with WESTON's federal, state, municipal and private industry customers and stakeholders.

Prior to joining WESTON, Mr. Miller was The Director of Public Works for the City of Jacksonville, Florida, where he led the planning, organization and execution of the $2.25 billion Infrastructure Revitalization and Growth Management program known as "The Better Jacksonville Plan." Colonel Miller previously served as the Commander of the Jacksonville District, U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, leading development of the $7.8 billion Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan.

Mr. Miller is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and holds a Master of Science degree in construction engineering and management from The Ohio State University and in national resources strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
