Charles Heaton Joins Weston Solutions, Inc. as Director of UXO Services

HOUSTON, Tx. - November 19, 2002 - WESTON, announced today that Charles Heaton has joined the Company as the Director of UXO Services. Mr. Heaton will be responsible for providing the corporate leadership, focus, and further development of WESTON's substantial UXO and chemical warfare materiel programs.

Mr. Heaton has extensive experience in the management of construction, Hazardous and Toxic Waste (HTW), and Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) programs and crucial expertise in managing hazardous environmental restoration projects. He will assist WESTON in providing safe, efficient, comprehensive and environmentally conscious solutions to its clients in the UXO arena.

Prior to joining WESTON, Mr. Heaton was Vice President and Director of the Environmental and Explosives Program at UXB International Inc., where he managed UXO remediation and restoration contracts for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Huntsville Center, the U.S. Navy, and a wide variety of commercial and private clients. He served with USACE from 1979 through 1997 as both an Active Duty Engineer Officer and a Department of the Army civilian, receiving numerous awards for leadership in his management of the USACE Ordnance and Explosives Center at Huntsville and other agencies.

Mr. Heaton is a Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia, with a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. He received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
