WESTON Signs License Agreement for Daramend® Bioremediation Technology

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - June 27, 2000 - Roy F. Weston, Inc., announced today it has signed a license agreement with a subsidiary of W.R. Grace & Co. for use of the DARAMEND^® bioremediation technology.

"DARAMEND^® is ideal for treating recalcitrant soil contaminants because it requires minimal site preparation and generates no odors or leachate. This adds up to significant cost savings and shorter remediation schedules for clients compared to traditional bioremediation processes, " said Patrick G. Extensively tested in the laboratory and thoroughly proven in the field, DARAMEND^® bioremediation has proven highly effective in treating contaminants such as chlorinated pesticides and herbicides, explosives, PAHs, wood-treating compounds and other hard-to-treat organic compounds.
