WESTON in Winter 2006 Issue of Portwatch

The Winter 2006 issue of Portwatch, a publication of the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority, featured WESTON as an active participant in the environmental redevelopment of the port. John Pauling, WESTON’s Ports & Waterways and Water Resources Business Team Leader, spoke about the environmental remediation firm and its continuing relationship with the port.

According to Pauling, WESTON turns environmental responsibility into economic growth by transforming contaminated areas into valuable assets. Pauling applied this theory to their work with the Port of Philadelphia, “We supported the Delaware River Port Authority and the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation in the revitalization of the former United States Navy shipyard. That whole area, underutilized and in disrepair after the closing of the Navy yard, is now a vibrant industrial park and business center.”

WESTON works with each client as a strategic partner to solve complex problems and to enhance the value of the client’s organization while fulfilling its mission to address the business challenges behind environmental threats to global quality of life. Pauling affirmed the firm’s continuous relationship with the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority, “Weston Solutions has shown its historical support for economic growth and redevelopment in the Philadelphia region. We are firmly behind the region’s growth.”
