WESTON in the Global Community

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk for the Cure

Each year, employees from WESTON offices nationwide participate in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk for the Cure. JDRF is a cause that is close to the hearts of many of WESTON’s employee-owners. Participants give their time and money by acting as team captains, walking in the Walk for the Cure, and sponsoring walkers to raise money for diabetes research while at the same time showing support for their colleagues.

WESTON received Platinum Award recognition from the Delaware Valley JDRF Chapter for raising money for the fight to cure diabetes.

Joe Paquet, committee co-chair for WESTON's Walk for the Cure Team, says "I have been helping to coordinate WESTON's support of JDRF for the past several years. I do this to help provide some hope for the current generation of child juvenile diabetics that a cure is possible within their lifetimes."

JDRF's mission is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through research.
